President's Honor Roll
The President's Honor Roll is the highest academic achievement for our undergraduate students. To qualify, a student must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.80 or higher. The student must also have earned a minimum of 24 semester hours and have completed a minimum of 12 hours at the close of the semester, eight of which must be for traditional letter grades.
The President's Honor Roll is highlighted on the student's official transcript.
A student can make the President’s Honor Roll and not the Dean’s List. While the Dean's List recognizes a student's academic excellence in a given semester, the President’s Honor Roll recognizes sustained academic excellence across the student’s academic career.
Dean's List
The Dean’s List, published at the end of each spring and fall semester, contains the names of students who are ranked in the top 15 percent of their college. The student must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours at the close of the semester, eight of which must be for traditional letter grades. The minimum GPA needed to receive the award will vary from semester to semester.
Because the Dean’s List is based on the student’s performance for that particular semester only and the President’s Honor Roll is based on sustained academic excellence across the student’s academic career, a student can make the President’s Honor Roll and not the Dean’s list.
Graduates
UND graduates will start being added two weeks after the end of each semester once all grades, paperwork, and other requirements are finalized for an individual. The complete list of graduates should be available approximately eight weeks after the end of the semester.
The list was first posted for spring 2019.
