Classroom Equipment Training
Smart classrooms are equipped with teaching stations including a computer, DVD/VCR, sound system and LCD projector. Instructors who are teaching in these rooms will need to obtain a key for the teaching station. The instructor will first need to attend a 15 minute training session on how to use the equipment properly (i.e., turning the system on and shutting it down) as well as provide the Center with information needed to order the key.
Teaching station keys are needed even if only teaching one course. However, if the teaching station is needed for one session (guest speaker) we can provide access or issue a temporary key. Faculty and staff only need to be trained once on how to use the teaching station unless they would like a refresher.
Training is available by appointment. Please call Classroom Services at 701-777-6325 or send an email to UND.classroomsupport@ad.NDUS.edu to schedule a session.
