Faculty Engagement: Teaching with Technology
There are many tools available to assist in teaching our students. How we use them can make our work easier and more effective. David Gibson from Blackboard was here to listen to you and your colleagues, and to offer sessions on various topics that can assist with the integration of technology into your courses.
If you were unable to attend one of these sessions you can view the recordings by clicking the links below.
CoBPA Pilot: iThenticate Plagiarism Detection Software
The College of Business and Public Administration (CoBPA) is partnering with the Center for Instructional & Learning Technologies(CILT) to provide faculty with a resource to help them when submitting their own papers for publication to professional journals. This collaboration offers a pilot of iThenticate plagiarism detection software, which checks submitted papers against a comprehensive content database for originality and returns a similarity report with links to referenced published work. iThenticate database search is intended for faculty submissions to scholarly journals, which is different from SafeAssign available within Blackboard
Watch a 3-minute video that quickly shows you how to upload and organize documents, the different types of reports that are generated and other key benefits. Read more at http://und.edu/tech-support/faculty-staff/ithenticate.cfm
