Online Master's Degree in English Language Learner (ELL) Education
- Prepares you to serve linguistically and culturally diverse students in K-12 schools, in adult TESOL programs, or by teaching English abroad.
- Provides a unique, optional focus on the needs and issues of ELL / ESL education in rural areas.
- Accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and meets the accreditation standards of the Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
- Designed to meet the requirements for ELL, ESL or TESOL teacher endorsement in North Dakota, as well as in other states.
- Follows the same curriculum as UND College of Education & Human Development's on-campus programs.
- Allows you to view recorded classroom lectures, access course materials, submit assignments and take exams at the time of day and place of your choice. You are not required to come to campus at any time.

Requires you to complete a 90-hour teaching practicum near your local community.
- Provides student support services, such as online tutoring, library, tech support and advising services.
- Begins every Fall (August) and Summer (May) Semester.
