The Doctorate in Educational Leadership program is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills necessary to function effectively as an upper-level administrator in a higher education setting.
The distance program meets the education requirements for individuals who have career goals related to scholarly activity in positions such as faculty members, researchers or policy analysts.
Bachelor’s and master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
A cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 for all graduate work completed.
Submission of required departmental materials, including a professional résumé, three letters of recommendation, transcript(s), an essay and statement of professional goals.
Completion of the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination is required for non-English speaking international students. A score that equals or exceeds 550 for the paper examination or 213 for the computer examination is required for acceptance.
