With the online Special Education program, you can earn your master's degree from the University of North Dakota without interrupting your career. The entire MS in Special Education program is offered online; you are not required to come to campus at any time.
Your transcript and diploma will look the same as for a student who graduated from UND by taking traditional, on-campus courses.
You will receive the convenience of distance learning with the personal contact and connection of "live" instruction through Web-based, online courses. You will complete your coursework through a combination of "live" and recorded Web class sessions.
As an online student, you will:
participate in some class sessions that are conducted "live" over the Internet at set times that are convenient for most students, such as evenings and/or weekends
attend chat sessions where you interact with your instructor and other students using Web-conferencing technology
watch recorded classroom lectures, access course materials, and submit assignments at the time of day and place of your choice
In this manner, the class lectures, discussion and collaboration are conducted in a very similar fashion to traditional on-campus classes.
