International Education Week (IEW), November 12-16, is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to:

celebrate the value and importance of international education in all its dimensions
promote programs that prepare UND students for international and global engagement
support the value of attracting future leaders from abroad to study and learn at UND.

New for 2012: International Fair

The International Fair will be a celebration of the many cultures and countries represented here at UND. With nearly 70 countries represented on campus we are looking for a multiplicity of cultural expressions and engaging venues to introduce and celebrate the wonder, beauty, color, or taste of the cultural diversity at UND. In addition to these displays and learning opportunities, we will have a parade of nations with individuals from a particular country or someone who studied or worked in a particular country to carry that country flag in this parade sometime during the Fair.

Career Possibilities with the U.S. Department of State	5:00 pm - McCannel Hall, Room 280 The Director of the Minneapolis Passport Agency from the U.S. Department of State will provide an info session exploring a career possibilities with the U.S. Department of State.
Culture Night: Russia & Taiwan	6:30 pm – Memorial Loading Dock Sponsored by International Programs
Friday, November 16
Noon Harvest Luncheon	11:30 am to 1 pm - Era Bell Center (Located across Swanson Hall on University Ave). Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pie will be served to all! It is also an opportunity to share good times with old friends and meet new ones! The event is free to all students!
