If students would like to study at the University of North Dakota (UND) for a semester or a full academic year as an Exchange Student, UND provides excellent opportunities. UND has over 15 Bilateral Exchange Agreements with universities all over the world. Contact your institution’s International Office to obtain detailed information on UND Exchange program. The application materials will be sent to your International Office Exchange Coordinator electronically.

Application Deadlines

Application Materials (Contact your institution’s International Office)

• Bilateral Exchange student application
• Copy of your passport
• A university transcript of records from your current university with an English translation
• Completed and signed housing application and contract
• TOEFL scores* (or IELTS scores)
• Undergraduate: 525 (paper based - PBT); 71 (Internet based- iBT); 6.0 on the IELTS
• Graduate: 550 (paper based - PBT); 76 (internet based - iBT) with the following minimal scores: Speaking 21, Listening 19, Reading 19, writing 17; 6.5 on the IELTS
• Health Form
• Medical Insurance
• Statement of Financial Responsibility
