The UND Study Abroad Office is located in the International Centre -the house across the road from the Memorial Union.
Our goal is to make International learning experiences an option for every UND student. We assist students with program selection, academic planning, financial planning, registration, credit, cultural adjustment, travel planning, reentry and credit transfer. Our office offers students a wide variety of program options, over 250 programs in around 70 countries. Programs vary in length, level, academic focus, teaching style, cost and language requirement.
In today’s world, it is vital to learn what it means to be a global citizen. Earning an appreciation of America’s connection to the world will significantly assist you with your personal and professional growth. Students who study abroad typically return more confident, mature and self reliant, with a greater sense of career direction and more highly developed leadership skills. Many students, even decades later, point to their study abroad as the most life-enhancing, influential event of their entire college education. A study abroad experience will set you apart from the crowd, not only in the eyes of potential employers and graduate programs, but also in the world where you live.
