How Do I Apply for Financial Aid?
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the only application required for all federal and state financial aid at the University of North Dakota. The FAFSA provides a standardized method of determining eligibility for financial assistance. The amount of financial need is the difference between the amount the federal government expects you and your family to contribute to your education and the cost of attending UND.
Apply early! Complete the FAFSA as soon after January 1 as possible. The priority date for state and federal financial aid programs is March 15, 2011 for the 2011-12 academic year.
Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver and Other Scholarship Programs
The University of North Dakota has been authorized to award several tuition waivers to broaden the cultural diversity on campus. Visit the Student Financial Aid website for more details regarding the Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver and other scholarship programs.
Priority consideration will be given to Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver applications received by April 15, 2011.
