NDUS Alumni Tuition Incentive Program

Dependents or spouses of graduates of a North Dakota University System (NDUS) campus are eligible for a discounted tuition rate of 150% of in-state tuition.

Eligibility for this discounted tuition rate is determined by answers to residency-related questions asked on the undergraduate application for admission.

Children and spouses of North Dakota University System (NDUS) graduates may be eligible for reduced tuition at the University of North Dakota. A graduate is someone who has earned a degree at a North Dakota University System campus.

Two requirements must be met to take advantage of the special tuition structure approved by the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education. The prospective UND student must:

1. Maintain residency in a state other than North Dakota, Minnesota, or a different state or province for which 150% of in-state tuition is already offered (click here to view map), and

2. Be claimed for federal tax purposes as a dependent or spouse of the North Dakota University System (NDUS) school graduate.
