Graduate & Professional Students
The process for applying for financial aid as a graduate student is much the same as it is for undergraduates. It all begins with submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Unlike undergraduates; however, you may enjoy access to additional sources of aid.
Visit the Loans and Grants pages to learn more about other sources of aid, including the Federal Direct Loan for Graduate Students (gradPLUS), a program exclusively for graduate and professional students.
If you’re a medical school student and need financial assistance, you’ll work directly with the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Student Financial Aid Office.
