You’ve already successfully navigated the financial aid process once. And because financial aid doesn’t automatically continue from year to year, you’ll need to do it again. But with a year of experience under your belt, this time should be a breeze!
If you continue to meet all eligibility criteria and your financial circumstances remain comparable, you’ll likely receive financial aid.
Remember to apply for aid and scholarships as soon as possible. Most scholarships applications are due in the spring, so begin your search early and be aware of the application deadlines.
As in the past, your first step in securing financial aid is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA application becomes available every January 1 for the following academic year, and you need to fill it out every year. Returning students are encouraged to complete it by February 1 to be considered for University scholarships.
UND's school code is 003005 and the priority deadline is February 1 for the upcoming fall semester.
