Exit Loan Counseling
All student loan borrowers must complete exit loan counseling when they
drop below half-time enrollment, withdraw or before the end of your last
term of enrollment at UND.
You must complete the following online version of Exit Loan Counseling to satisfy this requirement at UND.
Federal Direct Loans, Federal Stafford Loans, Federal GradPLUS Loans
Students who have borrowed a Federal Direct Loan (subsidized and/or unsubsidized), Federal Stafford Loan (subsidized and/or unsubsidized), and/or Federal GradPLUS Loan must complete the following exit loan counseling session:

You will be required to log into the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Web site. You must have your U.S. Department of Education Personal Identification Number (PIN) to log into this website. You should have received your PIN in the U.S. mail after completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application and being found eligible for financial aid. You may register for a new or replacement PIN at the U.S. Department of Education PIN Site.

Once you have completed your exit loan counseling session, the Student Financial Aid Office and Student Account Services will be notified electronically.
The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Student Access site is available for students to view their loan and grant records and obtain balance and loan holder information.
The Federal Student Aid Ombudsman Office is available to help student loan borrowers informally resolve loan disputes and problems.
