Students Who Marry After Completing the FAFSA:

Federal regulations do not allow students who marry after completing the FAFSA as a single student to complete a second FAFSA after they are married. For financial aid purposes your marital status for the current award year will remain as it was the day the FAFSA was signed.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

Files containing information regarding individual students are not open to the general public under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. The release of such information shall only be made in conformance with the University's policy as contained in the Code of Student Life and the Student Financial Aid Office's Release of Records Policy.  More information.

Reminders

• Keep your address current with the University. You can update your address through CampusConnection or by contacting the Office of the Registrar at 777-2711 or 1-800-CALL UND, ext. 72711.
• Your name and social security number or student ID number should be included on all correspondence with the Student Financial Aid Office.
