Don't Let Your Student Miss Out on Scholarships
UND awards nearly $7.3 million dollars in academic scholarships each year. If your student meets the criteria and submits an application by the March 1 priority deadline, he or she will automatically be awarded one of our freshman academic scholarships.
Your student is eligible to receive one scholarship award based on his or her weighted, cumulative GPA and official ACT or SAT scores. If your student has taken the ACT or SAT multiple times, the top score from each section (regardless of exam date) will be used to determine a composite "superscore" for scholarship eligibility. Make sure your student sends all test scores for consideration.
Besides the automatic freshman scholarships, UND students also have the opportunity to apply for more than 800 additional scholarships all in one place at Scholarship Central. Your student can fill out a quick and easy Scholarship Central application, and based on profile information, his or her application will automatically be submitted to the appropriate scholarship committee(s) for consideration. Your student must be admitted to UND and have claimed his or her account before being able to complete the application.
The scholarship committees will then determine if your student will be awarded scholarships based on his or her application. Typically most scholarships are awarded to current students for certain majors, but all incoming students are encouraged to apply and reapply each year they attend UND.
