UND Success Courses
Help students get the foundation they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom! Encourage them to enroll in a UND Success Course to ease the transition from high school to college.
UNIV 101 – Introduction to University Life
Join other first-year students in learning the ins and outs of college life while discovering UND resources and opportunities. Expand your knowledge of major and career choices, diversity, financial wellness, classroom technology and more. (2 credits)
UNIV 125 – Introduction to Effective Study Skills
Identify your unique learning style and effective methods to help you study and take exams. You'll learn study skills, time and stress management and critical thinking. (2 credits)
UNIV 126 – College Reading
Learn the best way to read textbooks to better prepare for class and exams. Improving key reading skills will help make you a better college-level reader. (2 credits)
UNIV 127 – Critical Thinking Strategies for College
Achieve academic and career success by developing skills in critical thinking and analyzing information. The skills will prepare you to participate in class discussions and enhance assignment quality. (2 credits)
