There's safety in numbers!
UND is dedicated to your personal safety 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- The University operates a full police department with more than 12 sworn officers who patrol campus.
- Safety escorts are available to walk with you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- You'll also find 13 "Blue Light Emergency Phones" located across campus in case of a crisis situation.
Plus, the University Police Department works closely with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to ensure that Grand Forks remains in the "top 10 of the most secure U.S. cities with fewer than 150,000 residents" (Sperling's BestPlaces).
