Schedule Your Visit
We offer group visits Monday through Thursday for groups of 10 or more students/visitors. Requests for group tours are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be restricted during peak visitation seasons.
Your tour is not confirmed until you receive an email that includes tour date, time, location and directions. This email will be sent from the UND Tours account.
Group Tour Guidelines
In order to offer an exceptional experience for your group, we provide the following guidelines:
The UND Admissions Office requires one chaperone for every 5 students in sixth grade and below. For seventh grade students and above, we require one chaperone for every 10 students. Chaperones must accompany the group on the walking campus tour and are expected to monitor the behavior of each guest during the entire campus visit. Should a group arrive without adequate chaperones, activities may have to be cancelled.
If your group would like to dine in one of our on campus dining locations as part of the visit experience, please contact the Office of Dining Services to reserve this activity and arrange for payment. The Office of Dining Services can be reached at 701.777.6480.
Prior to your visit, you will receive an itinerary for the day. Please arrive on time. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate your group as our Student Tour Guides are available in relation to class times and are not available outside of the scheduled window.
The campus visit includes a substantial amount of walking. Please encourage each student and/or guest to dress appropriately (comfortable clothing and shoes) and with the weather in mind (the walking tours continue, despite rain, snow or temperature and each guest is expected to bring any weather gear they deem necessary – umbrellas, jackets, hats, etc.)
Group Tour Parking
Students may be dropped off and picked up by the bus driver at the south facing doors of the Gorecki Alumni Building. Busses should park at the furthest south end of the “A” parking lot, south of the Gorecki Alumni Building parking lot. Stop in the Gorecki Alumni Building and our staff will direct you to the proper parking lot.
Group Tour Contact:
The UND Tour Coordinator is the main contact for all group tours. All requests must be made through the coordinator by phone or email and not through our online registration system . For questions about arranging a campus visit, please contact the coordinator at 701.777.3304 or via email at UND.tours@UND.edu.
