This community event is sponsored by the Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre. Receive your free passport and travel the "world" in the GF Town Square. Ten different countries and cultures will be represented, sharing folk tales, song, and dance from their native cultures. Represented are Native American (Hidatsa), American folk tale told through puppetry, Mexican traditional dance, Norwegian folk tale told through live theatre, Bhutanese song, Nepalese dance, Saudi Arabian folk play, as well as others. A giant-sized Alexander Griggs will stroll the square throughtout the day. Food from many nations will be available for sale. Free will donations gladly accepted.
