Ralph Engelstad Arena will host the Dakota Fighting Championships “Coming Home” Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 7:30 p.m.. This will be the second MMA event held at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
The fight card features national competitors along with some of the region’s best MMA fighters. Fight schedule includes:
- Tat Romero, Hibbing, Minn. (18-5) vs. Rod Montoya, Davenport, Ia. (15-12) (main event)
- Jordan Gaza, Corpus Christi, Texas (0-1) vs. Glena Avlia, Portland, Ore. (2-0) (female fight)
- Bryan Barberena, Thief River Falls, Minn. (5-2) vs. Jos Eichleberger, Fargo (10-6)
- Casey Gajeski, Grand Forks (1-0) vs. Josh Hinden, Thief River Falls (0-0)
- Marshall Martin, Fargo (19-13) vs. Danny White, Sisseton, S.D. (5-2)
- Jeremy Stetz, Moorhead (11-3) vs. Jake Klemme, Davenport, Iowa (4-2)
- Kevin Barberena, Thief River Falls (2-1) vs. Cameron Ramberg, Fargo (4-0)
- Andrew Kapel, Fargo (3-3) vs. John Soliz, Moline, Ill. (6-1)
- Bruce Nelson, Ada, Minn. (24-34) vs. Ryan Antle, Davenport (11-12)

Parking InformationUnless special parking arrangements have been stated above, off-campus guests for this event may use the pay-as-you-go option in the Parking Ramp (corner of 2nd Ave N and Columbia Road), the Visitor Lot (off Centennial Drive), or a Parking Meter. Parking in any other parking lot on-campus requires a parking pass which can be purchased directly through UND Parking Services, Twamley Hall Rm 204 (M, W-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Tu 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
