You are cordially invited to the first community-wide Martin Luther King Jr. Day event at the Empire Arts Theater Monday, Jan. 21, hosted by the Era Bell Thompson Multicultural Center in partnership with the University of Minnesota, Crookston, the Grand Forks Air Force Base, UND’s Black Student Association, and others.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is an opportunity for our community to honor Dr. King’s legacy.  Events include:

11 a.m. – Unity Walk (Rally at the steps of the Central High School walk to the Empire Arts Theater)
11:30 a.m. – Arrive at the Empire Arts Theater
Noon – Martin Luther King Jr. Program for the Grand Cities Area
1 p.m. – Community Social (Refreshments will be served)
