This musical comedy is set in Paul Bunyan Bay, MN and will bring 5 familiar characters to the stage for regional audiences.  Gunner, Clara, Berniece, Aarvard and Kanute will sing their way into your funny bone (which is really where your heart is located) with such memorable songs as "Smorgasbord of Love" and "I'm a Crappie Girl in a Walleye Town."  When a karaoke salesman shows up at "The Bunyan" bar, he invites the locals to sing how they feel as a way of creating romance in their lives. Wear your best winter garb (flap hats and mukuluks) and join in the pre-show fashion show to win tickets to the next show.  Enjoy jello at Sunday matinees.  Fir cute!

"Don't Hug Me" is the perfect date play because it's cheesy (have a glass of wine before you arrive), it makes fun of Minnesotans (something North Dakotans love to do because they make fun of us) and it will make you laugh, which is the best way to romance someone!
