To cross rivers, or valleys it is the history of the bridges of North Dakota that tell grand stories. The Grand Forks Public Library will host “Bridges of North Dakota” featuring bridges from across the state, spanning the time period from 1872 to the present. Produced by the State Historical Society of North Dakota, the exhibit was created in cooperation with the North Dakota Department of Transportation, with federal funding provided by the Federal Highway Administration, North Dakota Division, Bismarck. This exhibit was brought to the Grand Forks Public Library through the generosity of the UND College of Engineering and Mines.
