Please join us Tuesday, March 12, 10:30 a.m. to noon in 404 Twamley Hall for a farewell reception for Amanda Bentow.  Amanda, who was the UND Community Relations Officer, made the courageous decision to be a full time stay-at-home-parent.  She began her new career March 1.

Amanda, who graduated from UND in 2004 and 2006, served as Student Body Vice President as an undergraduate, and during that time played an important role in securing the student vote that led to the UND Wellness Center, a national model.  Before serving as the Community Relations Officer, Amanda worked at the UND Wellness Center.  More recently, she has served as president of the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals; a member of the steering committee for the Community Visioning Project; a member of the Altru Foundation Board of Directors; the Alerus Center board; and she has been heavily involved on the steering committee for the Launch Grand Forks Initiative. --Peter Johnson, Executive Associate Vice President for University Relations.
