On Friday, Dec. 9, the Harold Hamm School of Geology and Geological Engineering's Leading Edge in Earth and Planetary Science Lecture Series presents Scott A. Wood, Dean of Science and Mathematics at North Dakota State University, who will speak on "A Geochemist's Perspective on the Behavior of Asbestiform Minerals in the Human Lung” at noon (Leonard Hall Lecture Bowl 100) and “Volcanoes, Acid Mine Drainage, and Diel (24-Hour) Variations of Rare Earth Elements in Mountain Streams” at 3 p.m. (Leonard Hall 109).

Parking in any other parking lot on-campus requires a parking pass which can be purchased directly through UND Parking and Transportation Services, 3925 Campus Rd Stop 9030 (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday).
