cScibot Lego® Robotic Advanced Camp
Thursday, July 20, 2017 1 PM - 4 PM
Lego Robots are easy and fun to program. The software used to program the robots was designed for grade school children so campers will be able to start right away. There are several means of creating control programs to operate the robot, each with more power and complexity. As campers become more proficient at controlling their robot, there are programming tools designed to grow with him/her. The Robotic Camps will be held in various classrooms in the Computer Science Department located in Streibel hall on the University of North Dakota campus.
The advanced camp is for students who do well in the Introduction Camp and are looking for more advanced problems. We strive to create new challenges for every camp each year. Many students who don't feel ready for the advanced camp choose to enroll in the Introduction Camp again.
These camps are geared for children ages 9 - 14.
As part of the camp, each child will receive a t-shirt and a certificate of completion.
Parking InformationUnless special parking arrangements have been stated above, off-campus guests for this event may use the pay-as-you-go option in the Parking Ramp (corner of 2nd Ave N and Columbia Road), the Visitor Lot (off Centennial Drive), or a Parking Meter. Parking in any other parking lot on-campus requires a parking pass which can be purchased directly through UND Parking and Transportation Services, 3925 Campus Rd Stop 9030 (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday).
