"That which takes us by surprise - moments of happiness - that is inspiration. Many people are so startled by an inspiration or a condition of inspiration, which is so different from daily care, that they think that they are unique in having had it. Nothing could be further from the truth. Inspiration is there all the time for anyone, whether they realize it or not."
- Agnes Martin
The North Dakota Museum of Art is offering a series of workshops for children themed “Inspired Art”. In these workshops we’ll explore different sources of inspiration for making art. We'll take time to investigate our current exhibition, “Into the Weeds”, featuring artwork from nine different artists from around the world, all inspired by weeds. Where do you find your inspiration?
Sheila Dalgliesh is committed to providing exceptional art experiences to the children of Grand Forks through her numerous classes and workshops at the Museum and in the community. You may also know her through the ArtWise “Artist in the Classroom” program where she is a favorite of students.
