About Interfaith Week: The second annual Interfaith Week will be held on the UND campus from January 29 through February 4 with an Interfaith Fair on Wednesday February 1. Programming is designed to open dialogue between people of many traditions, promote cooperation among people of different backgrounds, and celebrate the diversity in the Grand Forks community.

Programming for the week is diverse, beginning with a Christian Worship, a Native American drum circle, introductions to Buddhism and Wicca, and a Flying Spaghetti Monster Supper sponsored by the Freethinkers of the University of North Dakota. The week will also include a panel presentation by the Ten Percent Society (a local LGBTQA organization), Bible Study, and Theology for Lunch. A community Gospel Concert sponsored by the Black Student Association and the Era Bell Thompson Multicultural Center is also scheduled for the week, as well as a "Meal and Conversation with a Muslim," brought to you by the Muslim Student Association. The programming for this week has been collaborative effort among committee members of very diverse backgrounds. Programming for the week will culminate on Saturday with an Interfaith service project in conjunction with the Global Friends Coalition. All events are free and open to everyone.

Interfaith Week planning committee member Kaitlyn Kelly said, "These events are a way to show people how much all communities of faith add to our community, but they're also opportunities to learn about our neighbors. I think we're hoping that each of these events will draw in people who are curious and willing to ask questions so real learning can take place."

Parking InformationUnless special parking arrangements have been stated above, off-campus guests for this event may use the pay-as-you-go option in the Parking Ramp (corner of 2nd Ave N and Columbia Road), the Visitor Lot (off Centennial Drive), or a Parking Meter. Parking in any other parking lot on-campus requires a parking pass which can be purchased directly through UND Parking Services, Twamley Hall Rm 204 (M, W-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Tu 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
