About the Journal
Contemporary Rural Social Work is devoted to the development of knowledge about rural social work and to the promotion of excellence in rural practice. The journal provides a forum for the intellectual exchange of ideas that advance these purposes. Contemporary Rural Social Work is sponsored by the National Rural Social Work Caucus and is a publication of the Center for Rural Education and Communities (CREC) in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of North Dakota.
