Basic X-ray Techniques
North Dakota Radiological Health Rules Section 33-10-06-03 requires individuals to complete a minimum of 80 hours of didactic training at a single course providing instruction in the topics listed below:
- Basic x-ray physics
- Radiation protection
- Principles of exposure
- Darkroom procedures and processing
- Interrelationship of the radiographic chain
- Anatomy and positioning
The course includes 64 hours of lectures and 16 hours of correspondence study for a total of 80 hours.

Who Should Attend
Limited diagnostic operators in accordance wtih ND Rules 33-10-06-03

All fees must be paid prior to the start of the course.
If you are unable to attend, a substitution can be made at any time without charge. You can also transfer your registration fee to another course offered by ETI. Refunds, less a $50 administrative fee, will be issued upon request. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received within five calendar days of the course. The University reserves the right to cancel programs if necessary. In this event, the University's liability is limited to the full refund of your registration fee.
