Annual Fraud Video

The University of North Dakota continues to be committed to a high standard of ethical and professional conduct. It is the expectation that each employee performing any activities on behalf of UND will adhere to those standards in the performance of her/his duties.

The North Dakota University System (NDUS) Chancellor recommended, and the State Board of Higher Education (SBHE) approved the recommendation, that all benefitted employees be required to watch a fraud video annually. The video provided this year is available on Blackboard; the video is approximately 4 minutes long.

After you watch the video and reviewed NDUS policy 611.10, NDUS policy 308.1, UND Code of Conduct and the UND Fraud and Theft policy, you will be asked to complete a verification quiz. Completing the quiz will allow us to extract who has viewed the video and give UND the ability to demonstrate compliance with the NDUS Chancellor and SBHE recommendation. If the video is watched in a group setting, the additional names must be separately emailed to avpfoacctstudent@email.und.edu. Include the username of the individual’s Blackboard account used in the group setting as well as first and last name of all additional viewers.

If you are a current user of Blackboard, the fraud training video is available under “My Organizations”. If you are a new user to Blackboard:

• Go to: online.UND.edu or go to the main UND page, click on A-Z, B for Blackboard or click on My UND
• Go to the Login Module and enter your
  • User Name: same as your IdM used to access your email (many times it is first name.last name)
  • Password: your IdM password
• Your My UND page will appear
• In the My Organizations module, click on Fraud Training
• In the left pane click on the green Fraud Training link
• You are now in the Fraud Training organization site
• If you have any questions about Blackboard or just need some help viewing the video, click on the Help menu item in your site or on the Blackboard Help tab at the top of the page. The Center for Instructional & Learning Technologies (CILT) support is available at 701-777-6305, or on live chat, or by submitting a help ticket.
• If you do not have Blackboard access and you are a benefitted employee, contact CILT to be added as a Blackboard user
