Important Message!! Starting Fall 2008, the current direct deposit information you have set up with UND to receive excess financial aid and other refunds will no longer be valid. You will need to set up direct deposit by using your UND Pride Card on www.undpridecard.com. You will need to log into the website using your card and then select Profile > Refund Preference > Select ACH Transfer > Update Preference > Confirm Refund Preference > Complete a New ACH Form > Enter Bank Account Information > Generate Form. Please print the completed form and drop it off at Student Account Services. *If you are a UND employee this does not affect the Direct Deposit you have set up with payroll. The payroll process is not changing. |

The Direct Deposit form must be completed and returned to Student Account Services for any new requests or changes to your Parent Plus Direct Deposit. This request is for the excess refund for PARENT PLUS LOANS ONLY. In completing the direct deposit form, you will be asked for information about your financial institution. This information is located on your check (see example). **Processing may take 1 to 3 business days. A paper check may be issued if sufficient time is not allowed prior to issue of your refund.** The direct deposit form needs only be completed once and will remain in effect until we receive a request to stop your direct deposit. Please note: This direct deposit form is not the same form used for a payroll deposit. If you receive a payroll check and want it to be deposited directly to your bank account, you will need to complete the appropriate form through Payroll. |

While parents/guardians/others understandably have an interest in a student's academic progress, they cannot be granted access to a student's records without consent of the student. The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, prohibits the release of information without the student's written consent. |
