Couples Counseling
In addition to individual and group counseling, the University Counseling Center provides couples counseling. Couples counseling is available to UND students and their partners (only one member of the couple need be a UND student.
This service is designed to help students cope more effectively with interpersonal conflict, learn relationship enhancing communication skills, address control and power issues and resolve sexual difficulties.
With the assistance of a counselor or therapist, couples are able to develop more intimate, satisfying relationships and learn skills that help the relationship grow and flourish after counseling has ended.
The University Counseling Center does not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or marital status. Same-sex couples are welcome to utilize the Center to address relationship issues.
