Workshops and Group Presentations
UND Financial Wellness can provide presentations to your class, student organization, group, or meeting covering a variety of topics.
Starting in September 2013, we will be offering three 30 minute modules which can be presented individually or as any combination of the three. These are the current options:
Learn how values impact your decision making process and how they can inform your financial goals. This module will cover the basics of cash management & creating a plan to spend within your means. Students will be able to identify resources on campus to help them navigate the financial world.
Good Credit: Get it!
This module will help students navigate the world of credit and better understand how it affects their life beyond college. Identifying the 5 factors that impact your credit report, how to get a free report & how to report an error will be covered. Students will be able to identify good and bad credit habits and how to change them.
Borrowing Basics will be a first look at borrowing money with special attention to student loans. Questions like: what are the different types of loans, how does my interest rate affect me, and what is a manageable amount of debt will be addressed. Students will better understand their payment options and will see monthly payment amounts based on various levels of debt.
