Financial Wellness Peer Educators
Our trained Peer Educators will work directly with students to help them understand important concepts of financial wellness and provide them with the tools necessary to make sound financial decisions.
Andrew
My name is Andrew. I am a senior from Minnetonka, MN. I am currently majoring in Business Management and will be graduating in May. I hope to eventually attend law school somewhere out east after working in the business world for a few years. I am excited to be a peer educator because I want to help students by empowering them to take hold of their financial futures. I enjoy working out, basketball, hockey, fishing, and being outdoors in general.
Betsy
I'm a senior from Moorhead, MN and an Interdisciplinary Studies: Health Science major and planning to attend PA school to become a Physician's Assistant. I wanted to be involved with Financial Wellness because I myself wanted to learn more about finances and money but also to give back and help other students. Finances are a stressful topic for anyone so being able to help students de-stress in healthy manner and have them be confident with their financial being. One interesting fact about me is that I'm an early bird, 5 am or 6 am wake ups are my cup of tea!
Dana
Hello, my name is Dana. I grew up on a farm near St. Leo, MN. I am currently a sophomore majoring in managerial finance and accounting. I enjoy running, biking, flying, and spending time on the lake-- especially with my family and friends. I'm excited to be involved with the financial wellness program and look forward to helping my fellow peers with any financial needs!
Emily
I'm a junior here at the University of North Dakota from Lakeville, MN where I have two supportive parents and two sisters. My field of study at UND is Entrepreneurship and Marketing. I love working with numbers and have a passion for working with small businesses and helping them grow. I enjoy getting to know people, love to be active, and love cooking! I am also apart of Greek Life here at UND in Gamma Phi Beta, and am on PanHellenic Council.
Mildred
Hi, I am Mildred—an International student within the Department of Teaching and Learning. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Teaching and Learning. I love getting to know people and helping them succeed. I want to work with Financial Wellness because as life happens, so does financial stress. Having someone to talk to is always a good thing and I look forward to working with the UND community.
Rosemary
My name is Rosemary, but most people just call me Rosie. I am a second year pre-nursing student from Minneapolis. I decided to become a financial wellness peer educator because if a student can spend less time worrying about their finances, they can focus more on school and their overall health and wellness! I was a peer educator for teen health issues in high school, and I hope to continue helping my peers through the financial wellness program.
