Peer-to-Peer Counseling Sessions
What is a peer counseling session?
UND students will have the opportunity to sit down with a trained peer and discuss financial topics that are relevant to them. Sessions are based on the individual, so the content will vary depending on the need of the student. A few topics that might be discussed are:
- Creating a spending plan (budget)
- Credit/credit score
- Savings
- Student loan basics (including creating a plan to pay them off)
Sessions may be scheduled Monday through Thursday 10am - 4pm and Friday 10am - 2pm. Each session will last roughly an hour and will cover the topics you choose when you request an appointment.
