Wellness Membership
At the Wellness Center we take pride in helping our members live a balanced life by embracing the 7 dimensions of wellness.

For a reasonable fee you can participate in Specialty Exercise classes, Rock Wall, Culinary Corner cooking demonstrations, or work with a Personal Trainer.
Please come in during operating hours to visit with our staff to learn more about your membership opportunities. Tours are also available of the Wellness Center.
Types and Pricing
Summer Membership
Purchase your Summer Membership before May 31 for a discounted rate of $79.00
- Available to all Students, University Affiliates/Associates, Alumni, Sponsored Members, & NCTC Students.
- Summer Membership runs May 16 - August 14.
- Visit the Welcome Desk to purchase your membership and for additional information.
Who Can Join?
All UND students, faculty/staff members, university affiliates, and alumni may join the Wellness Center. As a member you will be eligible to sponsor a separate membership at the same rate you pay. Sponsored members are not eligible to sponsor another member.
Parking
The Wellness Center is a zoned parking lot. A Wellness Center Only parking permit may be purchased at the Welcome Desk, or the meters on the south side of the paved parking lot may be used. The city streets are also another option for parking.
When using the Hyslop Pool, you may park in the parking ramp, at the meters, or on the city streets.
The Wellness Center is not responsible for those that receive a parking ticket.
Student
All students paying student fees are eligible for membership. Simply bring in your UND ID, sign a waiver and start enjoying your membership privileges.
For those students not paying student fees or are taking a semester off (such as the summer) you are still eligible for membership. Membership is available to you to purchase at the current student membership rate.
Any incoming student attending the University of North Dakota is eligible for membership prior to the academic year after providing appropriate documentation. Accepted documentation is a UND acceptance letter or class registration. The following membership rates apply to non-enrolled students and the members they sponsor:

Faculty, Staff and Affiliates
UND faculty, staff and affiliates* are eligible to purchase a membership at the Wellness Center. Just bring your UND ID, purchase your membership, complete an orientation and begin enjoying your membership privileges. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Health Club Credit program provides great benefits. Listed below are the membership prices for faculty, staff and affiliates and those they sponsor. Faculty and staff may be eligible for payroll deduction.

To become a recognized affiliate eligible for membership, the organization must request eligibility to the Assistant Director of Membership and Team Wellness. Final approval will be granted by the Wellness Center executive staff.
Alumni
As a member of the UND Foundation, you are eligible for membership after an annual gift is given to the UND Foundation, directed toward UND Health and Wellness. Up to 200 current members of the UND Foundation will be given this opportunity. Alumni will also be responsible for memberships dues paid to the Wellness Center. You are a current member of the UND Foundation if you have graduated from UND or you have previously given a gift to the foundation.

*The Coordinator of Membership and Guest Relations will verify that the annual gift has been made. If the annual gift cannot be verified the membership will be immediately placed on hold and the member will be contacted.

Do you have a spouse, partner, friend or family member who is currently a member of the UND Wellness Center? Did you know that you can enjoy a membership just like they do? It’s possible through a sponsored membership! If you are 18 years of age or older and know someone who is a member of the UND Wellness Center who is currently not sponsoring another member, you can sign up for a membership today.
Osher Lifelong Learning
Individuals who are active members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) may purchase a membership through the OLLI office or Living Well Membership. All fees are paid at the time you register. For more information, visit the UND OLLI website.
