Are you tired of the same old thing? Experience the excitement of rock climbing. The rock wall will bring you almost 30 feet off the ground, but you'll have to work for it. Follow the routes that fit your skill level, and spend the semester challenging yourself on more difficult routes. The open area and natural light, along with the natural look of the rock will keep you climbing to the peak.
The Rock Wall is open to all Wellness Center members. Our welcoming and knowledgeable staff will hook you up with the equipment and the training you need. Do it for fun or as a part of your fitness routine, but do it! We dare you!
Still not convinced? The Rock Wall will challenge you mentally and physically, build confidence and provide an opportunity to meet other climbing enthusiasts.
Climbing and Fitness
There's nothing like a workout for climbing than by climbing. Gym climbing lets you work the specific muscles used for specific moves, and gain muscle memory at the same time. However you can't always make it to the gym. These rock climbing exercises should be used in a robust scheduled rock climbing workout. Forearms, arms and shoulders are important muscles to target. By doing these exercises you can workout the most important muscles for rock climbing and improve your climbing ability.

1 Free trial climb for first time users
Day Pass $5.00 (Purchased at Wellness Center Front Desk, must present receipt to Rock Wall staff)
1/2 Fall Semester Pass $15.00 (Purchase at the Wellness Center Front Desk or online here)
Spring Semester Pass $30.00 (Purchase at the Wellness Center Front Desk or online here)
Annual Pass $50.00
Rock Wall Hours
Rock Wall is closed beginning Friday, December 7th through Winter Break. The Rock Wall will re-open on Tuesday, January 8th for regular hours. See you in the Spring!
Monday to Friday – 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sunday – 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday – Closed

Intro to Climbing/Belay Classes
You will learn how to:
- Properly fit a harness
- Properly communicate
- Belay (what it means and how to do it)
- Tie into your harness
- Use various climbing techniques
Dates: Every Wednesday at 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm, and 7:30pm
Cost: Free to all Semester and Annual Members, $5 for non-members
Women's Night/Cheap, Fast, and Healthy
Begins September 4th!
Women climb FREE every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
After working up an appetite from climbing go to the Culinary Corner at 5:30pm for their Cheap, Fast, and Healthy cooking class! This class is free to all members!
Free Climb Fridays
All Wellness Center Members climb for FREE every last Friday of the month!

Every Sunday from 4pm-6pm try out the Rock Wall's Slackline!
