CPR and First Aid Register Here
Emergencies can happen anytime. Are you prepared? Our American Heart Association courses provide you with the critical training that you need for any emergency. See our upcoming schedule of courses listed below. These courses are open to both UND affiliates and the general public.
BLS for Healthcare Providers
This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR , as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Those who should take this course are: Lifeguards, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Students, Police Officers, EMT's, Firefighters, and anyone else who has a duty to respond.
Topics covered in this course include: Rescue breathing; CPR for adults, children, and infants; two person CPR; use of a Bag Valve Mask (BVM); care for an obstructed airway; and how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator. The course runs approximately 4 hours in length.

This course teaches adult, child and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking. It runs approximately 3 hours in length and is open to the general public. If your non-healthcare employer is requiring certification, this class will meet that need.

- Aug 12 5pm-8pm
Heartsaver First Aid
This course covers how you can respond to basic first-aid emergencies at home, in the workplace, and outdoors. This course runs approximately 3 hours in length and is open to the general public.

- Aug 13 5pm-8pm
Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid
This course combines both the Heartsaver CPR/AED and the First Aid courses.

H&W Employee Classes
These are First Aid and CPR courses specifically for employees of the Health & Wellness Unit. These courses are not open to the general public. Employees may register online for these courses as well.
Summer semester class dates:
- June 29 5pm-7pm CPR
- June 30 5pm-7pm First Aid
Register for all of our courses online at http://wellnessregistration.und.edu, or by calling 701-777-9355. You may also register in person at the Wellness Center. Payment is required to complete registration.
If your card is ever lost, stolen, or damaged you may request a new one. Please call 701-777-4864 to request and pay for a new card. Please have the original class type and date readily available in order to speed up the re-order process.
If you do not have a UND issued parking permit, you must request a temporary permit from the Welcome Desk, or you will be ticketed. The Wellness Center is not responsible for any parking violations that may be accrued while visiting the facility. If you do require a pass, please make sure to arrive early enough so you are not holding up the rest of the class.
