New Staff/Faculty only classes:
Functional Fitness will incorporate strength training, cardiovascular fitness as well as balance & flexibility training to assist with activities of daily living. Classes will run: Thursday 4:45 – 5:15pm (30 min, 6 weeks) with Katie L (KPHE Graduate Student) - $50 ($15 return for attending 5 of 6 classes). Registration closes on March 25.
Deans for Wellness Walk:
Please join Dean Wynne for a healthy walk outside or down the halls of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences indoor paths on Tuesday, March 31 from 12:15-12:45pm. We will leave from the Vennes Atrium.
All walkers can enter into a drawing for prizes: Expedition water bottle package and a new pair of tennis shoes. This is open to the campus community to enhance our quality of life with physical activity and support from administration.

Everyone seems to be talking about essential oils. What are they? How do they work? Why do they work? Is this just a "fad" or is there medical research behind them? This session will cover the basics of essential oils-including general uses for basic oils.

Sanford Health Plan will be the new health care insurance provider effective July 1, 2015.
Employees can continue to utilize the existing wellness programs and services through BCBS through June 30, 2015. Both Health Club Credit and HealthyBlue will continue through June 30, 2015. Sanford will have the health club credit and an online employee portal similar to what exists today available as well. More information on the services available through Sanford will be provided as the details become available.
