HON 381 - Exploring German Culture
In this class, we will discover German history and culture through the lenses of literature, film, art, philosophy and music. Germany is known for its politics, wars, food, castles, cars, landscape, art, and much more. in preparation for the Honors Program's Faculty directed visit to Germany at the end of the Spring 2016 semester, this course will help you explore Berlin and Munich's vibrant culture by transforming you into well-versed and critically thinking travelers.
After finals week, we will travel to Germany for our required "field experience," - 9 days. The cost for the trip will be a program fee, like a lab fee, and will be part of your tuition. However, you are responsible for your transportation to and from the Minneapolis airport. A special application is required for admittance to the class.
