2011 Honors Program
Fall Undergraduate Research Forum
Call For Papers: Honors Program Fall Undergraduate Research Forum
In an effort to recognize, promote, and showcase the outstanding undergraduate work that occurs on this campus every semester, the University of North Dakota Honors Program is sponsoring its first ever Fall Undergraduate Research Forum on Friday, November 18, 2011, in the Union Lecture Bowl.
To that end, Honors is inviting proposals from all UND undergraduate students of any and all majors who are engaged in research, broadly defined: laboratory or field research; faculty-student mentored research; course-based research papers; group projects; and capstone, community service, or experiential learning projects.
Students who are doing undergraduate research in ANY discipline, inside or outside the classroom, should contact Honors to be part of this open, multidisciplinary celebration of undergraduate research this semester. Help us showcase your work! Students will be given 15 minutes for oral presentations; posters will be on display in the Memorial Union Badlands Room.
For more information, faculty or students can contact Brian Schill or Dr. Sally Pyle in the Honors Program at 777.2219. We will be accepting abstracts/proposals for both oral and poster presentations until Friday, October 14, 2011.

All sessions are open to the public and are held in the Memorial Union. This year's URC will be held
Wednesday, April 20th, 2011.
