UND Identity Guidelines
The University of North Dakota (UND) is a university with a foundation in the liberal arts, surrounded by a variety of professional and specialized programs. UND is widely acclaimed for its high-achieving students and alumni, modern and beautiful campus, extensive resources, innovative and entrepreneurial efforts, and the international reputation of its academic and research programs. With such diverse educational offerings, it is imperative that UND present a clear visual image with a uniform and consistent identity.
The UND Identity Guidelines provide design standards for print and digital communications as well as a reference for the proper use of University-related logos, design elements, and other marks for all campus communicators, graphic designers, media, and members of the UND community.
One of the top priorities is to eliminate all misuses of the University's official logos and marks. Moving forward, all print and digital communications should use the official logos and marks within the UND Logo System and follow established usage guidelines. Existing materials may be used until supplies are exhausted.
