Campus Signage
Campus signage includes all signs and symbols that provide information, direction, or identify buildings, sites, and functions on the UND campus for students, visitors and members of the University community.
The University of North Dakota maintains a system for standardizing signage throughout its campus in an effort to be recognized as an essential component of the UND identity.
The goals of the signage standards are:
- To provide a design framework that establishes consistent aesthetics and quality from building to building.
- To provide a system within which to request Facilities Management to make, update, or place signage, and/or seek approval for signage to be constructed elsewhere.
Facilities Management and the UND Design Group will monitor and update these standards to reflect new developments in manufacturing techniques, building codes, and design trends.
The full policy and request forms are currently in the approval process. They will be available soon.
