With four different avenues to follow within kinesiology, students at UND are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to help rehabilitate athletes, manage a fitness center or educate others about health. As one of the oldest professional programs at UND, Kinesiology & Public Health Education helps students develop healthy physical, mental and academic habits.

The Department of Kinesiology provides students with the well-rounded college experience that is necessary for a successful career or continued education. An essential part of the B.S. in Kinesiology is a summer internship. Students are required to complete 300 hours of service in experiential learning. With many fitness, health and wellness facilities in the Grand Forks area, there is no shortage of opportunities for kinesiology students.
The opportunities really are endless for students in the kinesiology program. Whether you’re interested in the physical or administrative side of the field, there is a career in almost any environment. Popular career choices include:
