UND Multicultural Student Services and OLA host Hispanic Heritage month
The University of North Dakota's Multicultural Student Services and the Organization of Latin Americans (OLA) will be hosting events from Sept. 15 – Oct. 15 in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.
TODAY: Starting today, at noon, the Multicultural Student Services invites anyone interested to come to Swanson Hall Room 10 -12 and participate in the Diversity Town Hall public forum initiative at UND.
The goals of the forum are to involve the campus and extended community in civil debate of critical issues, consider issues on local, regional and global levels, reclaim the tradition and art of public discourse, and inform the underrepresented UND community of upcoming newsworthy events.
Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens with Hispanic heritage.
