Life sciences business developer Matthew Brown to speak at UND on Tuesday
EMD Millipore, the Life Science division of Merck KGaA of Darmstadt, Germany, announces that employee Matthew Brown will speak to graduate and postdoctoral students at the University of North Dakota.

Background:
Brown will speak to the biomedical research community (including research faculty, graduate and postdoctoral Life Science students) about licensing novel research tools with Academia. Brown will highlight some of EMD Millipore's areas of interest for new technology licensing including reagents, platform technologies, systems and biology tools. Brown will also meet with individual researchers one-on-one to discuss specific technologies they have developed and provide feedback. Following the presentation, Matthew will participate in a lunch reception with students to discuss his career path and share his experiences with licensing and technology transfer at EMD Millipore.
