UND Center of Community Engagement seeks award nominations
Community members and organizations are invited to nominate University of North Dakota faculty, departments and students for recognition of their outstanding contributions to the community.
Awards will be presented at the annual Stone Soup Awards Luncheon and Program, sponsored by the UND Center for Community Engagement, on Thursday Nov., 8 at the new Gorecki Alumni Center on campus.
Nominations from the community are being accepted in these categories:
The Public Scholar Award, for a faculty member who demonstrates exemplary community-based research and creative activityThe Faculty Service – Learning Award, for a faculty member who makes excellent use of service learning to teach students academic content while they provide a benefit to the community, The Engaged Department Award, for a UND department or program committed to engagement of faculty and students.
Nominations are also being accepted for an undergraduate and graduate student award or outstanding academic service to the community.
Nominations are due by 4 p.m., Oct. 1.
