UND observes State Employee Recognition Week Sept. 10-14
The University of North Dakota Staff Employee Recognition Committee, headed by Committee Chair Marsha Nelson, is hosting a week of events Sept. 10-14 in honor of staff employees and their dedicated service to the University.
UND President Robert Kelley encourages supervisors to grant reasonable release times for employees who wish to participate. Please make arrangements with supervisors to ensure coverage in respective departments.
Schedule of Events:
Monday Sept. 10 – 14:
Sites 2 C @ UND Scavenger Hunt. Download the rules, maps and game sheet. Game sheets will also be available at the events. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place.
Tuesday Sept. 11:
Taco in a Bag, 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m., in the Memorial Union Ballroom. Cost is $1, and includes beef taco meet, chips, assorted toppings, beverages and candy. Work Well will hand out fruits and veggies.
Wednesday, Sept. 12:
Night Staff Appreciation, 6 a.m., in the Terrace Cafeteria. Breakfast will be served to night staff.
Thursday, Sept. 13:
Picnic at the Union with Pie and Ice Cream, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom. Cost is $1, with additional hot dogs at .75 cents each. The meal includes a hot dog, chips lemonade, pie and ice cream.
Friday, Sept. 14:
Wear Your Colors, employees 0 – 10 years wear blue, 11 – 20 years – red, 21 + years – UND Green!
Monetary donations will be collected at all events for the LISTEN center.
